Do you think Donald Trump is crazy? Unconventional? Funny? One thing is for sure…whether you love him or hate him, he has definitely done some crazy things as President.
So, no matter where you stand – whether you believe he’s just a unconventional business man from NYC who speaks his mind, or whether you believe he’s crazy and out of his mind, these are 25 Craziest Donald Trump Moments!
Okay, we’re just joking. One of his top quotes is, “The beauty of me is that I’m very rich.”
24. Potentially Inciting Violence Towards the President if Hillary Were Elected and Picked Supreme Court Judges
Perhaps one of his most unsettling remarks was, “If she gets to pick her judges – nothing you can do, folks. Although, the Second Amendment people. Maybe there is. I don’t know.”
23. More Humility
Again, we’re joking! In 2016, Trump was quoted as saying, “I’m also honored to have the greatest temperament that anybody has.”
22. Bragging That His Building Is Now the Tallest in Manhattan after 9/11
The same day of the Twin Towers attack, Trump bragged that he now has the tallest building in downtown Manhattan. He told a reporter that,
“40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan… And now it’s the tallest.”
21. And Even More Humility
Ok, you get the pattern. Trump’s opinion of the other Presidential candidates was summed up when he said, “I think the only difference between me and the other candidates is that I’m more honest and my women are more beautiful.”
20. Outta My Way!
During his first trip abroad, Trump made waves when he pushed the Prime Minister of Montenegro to the side during a NATO meeting.
19. He doesn’t need eye protection for the solar eclipse.
The solar eclipse was beautiful, wasn’t it? While (hopefully) all of us were enjoying the special occasion with the aid of protection, the President didn’t think he needed it. #fakenews
18. Birther Controversy
In spite of being the lead figure in the Obama birther controversy, Trump eventually denied having anything to do with it, claiming that Hillary started it. Of course, his participation and stance on the issue was very public so there is no doubt as to what he said and believed.
17. Poor People Are Morons
At least according to Trump. He was quoted as saying, “If they can stay so poor for so many generations, maybe this isn’t the kind of person we want to be electing to higher office. How smart can they be? They’re morons.”
Or rather, a lack thereof. In spite of claiming to be a Christian, Trump stated, “Why do I have to repent, why do I have to ask for forgiveness if I’m not making mistakes?” Needless to say, this caused a bit of a stir among the faithful. Repentance is a necessary facet of Christianity.
15. “I will pay for the legal fees.”
This was Donald Trump’s promise during one of his rallies when he encouraged supporters to “knock the crap out of” protesters.
Regarding his intelligence, Trump said, “Sorry losers and haters, but my IQ is one of the highest – and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”
13. Humble Beginnings
During his campaign, Trump bragged that he had had a hard life. It all started out when his dad gave him a “small” loan of $1 million.
12. Iraq War
When Howard Stern asked him in 2002 whether or not he supports the Iraq War, he said, “I guess so.” During his Presidential campaign, he claimed to have always opposed it.
11. Bashing Prisoners of War
Although Trump received numerous deferments to avoid fighting in Vietnam, he bashed John McCain saying, “He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
10. “We just got back from the Middle East.”
This was one of Trump’s first lines upon leaving Saudi Arabia and arriving in…Israel.
9. Trump Tacos
On Cinco de Mayo Trump tweeted, “Happy Cinco de Mayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!”
8. His Reaction to Nazi Violence
Recently, a group of White Nationalists rallied against the removal of a statue in Charlottesville, VA. Their chants were reminiscent of Nazi attitudes. The protest ended badly with several injuries and a fatality after a White Nationalist drove his car through a group of anti-protesters. Trumps response, “I think there is blame on both sides.”
7. Leaving his Wife Behind
When the Trumps met the Obamas at the White House, Donald got some negative press because rather than waiting for Melania, he proceeded to walk up the steps by himself and left Melania to walk up behind him.
6. Kicking a Crying Baby Out of His Rally
Minutes after saying, “I love babies,” he said, “Actually, I was only kidding. You can get that baby out of here. Don’t worry, I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking. That’s O.K. People don’t understand. That’s O.K.” The mom and her baby had to leave.
5. Mocking a Disabled Reporter
Perhaps one of his most infamous moments so far has been mocking disabled journalist Serge Kovaleski and imitating him on stage.
4. Feuding with the Pope
If there’s one person you would never expect to get in a fight with, it would be the Pope. Right? Of course, that logic only applies to non-Donald-Trumps. The two of them traded blows on everything from immigration to human rights.
3. Not Releasing Taxes
In response to being accused of not paying tax, Trump responded by saying, “That makes me smart.”
2. Claiming to Know More Than the Generals

1. “I think I’ve made a lot of sacrifices.”
When he was being compared to fallen soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, Trump defended himself by saying that he had made a lot of sacrifices, too.
